Titanium: Fear tactics -> tell people to buy gold -> invest heavily in gold yourself -> profit

This is happening all over. And the only way to make money in a failing market is to tell people where to invest so that you reap the benefits.

HomerSimpson: You have it backwards, my friend. First you heavily invest in a vehicle yourself and then you convince others to buy into that same vehicle, thereby driving up the price. Exit at the top. Rinse and repeat.
Don't worry, I know that. Yes, I've could have made that clearer, but suffice it to say those two, advising and investing, happen about five minutes apart, when you're sure the message got across (like, they didn't edit your presentation with dancing ponies and hearts and telling you it's gonna be all right).
and how exactly does it help me to "wake up and see the reality"? so that I finally realize that everybody is a bitch and all everyone wants is to make money to make their miserable meaningless lifes more luxurious? we all know that!

so the solution to this is to become one of those bitches as well before somebody takes all my money and sends me on the street?

nobody thinks about fixing this situation, nobody sees the future other than their own.

fuck this world

I don't know what it's like in the Czech Republic, but here in the United States we're constantly fed BS from the media and the government. We're given arbitrary talking points or issues to divide us and keep us bickering among ourselves, and we're constantly divided by Us vs Them mentalities. Every so often some completely random topic will be blown out of proportion to distract us from real issues surrounding us.

Can the average person do much about the current situation? No, but they can mentally prepare for the crapstorm coming. And they can ask questions and have critical thought of the information their given, and ask what the real situation is. A lot of Americans either don't want to, or don't realize they can think between the lines and ask "Why?" or "What?".
Can't complain about this guy's statement. It's actually the truth and millions of people are aware of that and already planning to exploit the crisis for their own good. The fact that he's honest enough to say it out loud makes him almost one of the good guys.

Edit: But before anyone complains - I of course don't agree with "Goldman Sachs ruling the world". Truth be told I don't think anyone is ruling the world. I'm still not sure whether this is a good or a bad thing, though.

You can try all you want, a lot of us have. We have had some rare successes, FOSS software became outright required to compete in business, but that's the exception, not the rule. We've all thought about helping but we're as powerless to change anything as the average government drone because most people are 100% convinced that the stuff that's bad for them is actually good and that the realities of the world, such as climate change and resources starting to get scarce can't possibly be true. There's people in the media that screech over you if you even try to bring up real issues because it conflicts with their sacrosanct, preconceived notions.
