"The Bards tail, worth £6"

Bards have tails?

It's actually quite logical, if you think about it.

OOOOOOKKKKKK thanks for the input aluminium
I don't want his tail.
But is it any good? I guess it's too early to tail.
If you purchased the Bard's tail, you'd get his arse handed to you.

It got mediocre reviews, however I think it's the team that came up with something really awesome later on. Also, it's loosely based on the original Bard's Tale games. What's 6 pounds these days? 11 or 12 bucks? That's bargain bin prices almost, less than a movie ticket. I'd try it out for that.

More like $9, in these dark times a pound is only worth about $1.50.

Now I know why I was thinking these guys had done something cool, they developed Hunted: The Demon's Forge (which comes out in a month or two). The founder is Brian Fargo of Fallout fame. I'd say even a mediocre RPG from him will be somewhat entertaining. Beware the PC version may have console port issues as it was originally released on XBox and PS2, you may want to check that out in reviews.
I hear it goes well with Hindz Baked Beans.

Eh, the game is okay. Mediocre game play is saved by brilliant voice acting by Tony Jay, Cary Elwes, and some genuinely funny Python-ish musical numbers. The concept of the musical summons is interesting... but again... the actual game play itself is forgettable and dull hack and slash. Worth ~$10? In today's age of bargains? No. Maybe $5 U.S. tops. For $12 today you could get Mount and Blade Warband and Sim City 4 (assuming you have no hang-ups with Steam and if you do, well, therapy will get you over that) -- way more entertainment value than Bard's Tale. Better off just watching a 'Let's Play' on YouTube.

It's funny because this is why I don't have high hopes for Hunted (say that three times fast).

I played Hunted at PAX, I think you are going to be pleasantly surprised.

Nah that's fine, he was part of Interplay, I just have a thing for Fallout.

I have a physical copy sitting a stack here right by me. I really need to get a new set of shelves. I think my purchase was influenced by the fact that it was hot on the heels of Armed and Dangerous. Tony Jay's in that one, too.
My brother borrowed this from a friend of his and I remember having a great time with it. it was a good game with some great humor added to it. Yeah I would buy it for less then ten dollars personally.
I bought the disk version to get the first three - never really played the game itself.
