It's a joke spin on a derogatory term for the playstation. Gaystation has been used since the PS1 era by fanboys/girls of other consoles (a bit like some people referred to the first Xbox as "Sexbox", though that one never seem to have been quite as popular).

The very reason I've posted is because YOU started reading things people here weren't saying AND insulting others while discrediting any dissenting voices as bigots, insecure people, or whatever else name you could procure to belittle, ignore, pigeon-hole, and sweep under the rug.

Your gut instinct at seeing a statement shouldn't be "Oh fuck, someone's disagreeing with me! Attack, attack!". You should probably sit down and consider the veracity of a given statement. It's not all about YOU, and what YOU think.

As long you think that "nobody should be discriminated against", and the people you've called bigots agree that "nobody should be discriminated against", you have been wrong to call said people bigots. It's as simple as that. Ask any goddamn person here whether they believe any particular group should be discriminated against. Go ahead - tell me who here is intolerant and how.

Fuck that, these are nice people, and they deserve better treatment than that. What a horrible twist, by the way, that you've basically said "Love and tolerance, and FUCK EVERYONE who (I think) disagrees with me".

As far as I can tell - I don't fit a single of these descriptions. I've been called many things in this life, but even the staunchest of my detractors have yet to have the audacity of calling me "stupid" or "illogical". Quite on the contrary - I have been compared to emotionless beings, capable of reasoning, but devoid of emotion, inhuman.
Then again - "stupid" is such a light term, I guess were simply throwing things at a wall to see what sticks. "Self-centered" is, arguably, even worse in this regard, since the moment a person starts trying to deny such accusations, they unavoidably open themselves up for further aggression; they are talking about themselves, so that only further proves the point, doesn't it?

Frankly - I'd be interested in feedback on this subject. I strive to better myself, so I'd like to know how people see me, so that I can have a second opinion on who I am and how I am doing. Feel free to comment and tell me whether you agree that I am "stupid", "self-centered", or with any sort of descriptor that you can come up with.

I'm sure it wasn't the first, but the first time I remember hearing about "seXBox" was on a local FOX affiliate station newscast. It was a ridiculous fluff piece about how the Nintendo DS was helping child molesters find and rape little kids. And then there was the infamous FOX News piece about how the "sex scenes" in Mass Effect were pornography promoting rape.

Was there ever a time when people hesitated to speak of or be seen with their wives, husbands, or children? Was there a time when heterosexual engagements and marriages were not widely celebrated?

Sexual preference has always been very public and obvious, unless yours was not the predominant preference.
