Ah, to get my hands on that horde...

Man.. a true treasure chest… If gog.com will ever have problems with acquiring game copy/manual - this museum will be right place to start with :-)
A still sealed Ultima Underworld! *faints*
*mmm* I sense desperation and cry for help on those pictures... a scream: “We don’t want to go to the museum, to those tombs made of glass… We were born to be played…We were born to bring joy…There is a place where we will live forever...Where people will cry from happiness when they see us on weekend promo… Take us there…Take us there…”
Wow, for a second there I got a distinct "give me my precious" Gollum feeling and I think LCD monitor screen is a bit scratched now. It's a good thing it passed, because I need to go mend my bleeding fingernails.

Anyway, I know where I want to go for this year's summer vacation.
My collector heart just aches now! That was just beautiful, I must make the pilgrimage to gaming mecca soon so that I can pay homage to the games that raised me!

I wish CGW had been able to stay alive as it was one of the first PC gaming magazines I ever read. I knew it was doomed when it went to Official GFW Magazine since GFW has been poorly supported.

At least these classic game boxes and copy will be preserved so the future can see just what we had to deal with when we finally got the game up after seeing such cool pictures! :)
There definitely some games I wish GOG could get their hands on in that pile ... what a collection!
Man! It's like hitting the lottery - twice.

The CGW Museum has now scanned most of the issues up to 148 (end of 1996). Re-reading the previews and reviews of many of the games I saw on that slideshow was surreal and left me nostalgic.

Come on GOG, let's get more of those wonderful memories available here!
