Has GOG ever considered offering some of the text based Infocom games, like Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Stationfall, or Planetfall? These were games that, despite the lack of graphics, were fun to play. Also, how about 'Tass Times in Tonetown'? the old Commodore 64 game? Thanks again for an awesome site!
Maybe as a bundle for $5.99 but would you consider buying each for $5.99? Probably not.

Yes - if they were bundled as a whole series - ie Zork series
If they were bundled together i would consider buying it, but since they dont really provide any replay value id say no to buying them sepratley.
Just for your amusement, I used to work for a company which started out their days as Infocom (I don't think the real devs ever trademarked it - but then it was a more liberal age) They used to get so fed up with support calls that one engineer actually learned the whole lot, and answered the questions himself as it was more efficient use of time than telling them they had the wrong number. He was trully a GOGer.
Here's a link to Hitchhiker's Guide.

It's browser based, but it's a start.

Lol, what Engineers would do that now?

Common misconception. The series was available for download at some point but it was not made freeware. It was just a promotion that lasted a few months.
At some point Activision released multiple collections of Infocom text games. As I remember, I've got Masterpieces collection directly from their store and it was less than $15 twelve years ago. Activision may not have rights to the Hitchhiker's Guide though. Same for Shogun.
Haven’t played those, but I sure hope that at some point gog will add more games from pre-1995 era. There are some real gems there I would like to buy. Of course you can’t expect that ex. Wasteland or Sentinel Worlds 1: Future Magic for $5,99 will sell in thousands of copies – but if gog manage to construct some kind of bundle policy (say 3 real antics your choice for 5,99$) I’ll be more than happy.
Well, both Waxworks and Personal Nightmare are selling at $5.99 each and those are not much newer than, say, Wastelands. Not the worst sellers, according to the store sorting. But yes, they do feel overpriced and I don't see that as a viable model for really old games.
With Infocom games there is a known way to break them into reasonable sized bundles that make sense -- at some point Activision released five separate collections: SciFi, Fantasy, Adventure, Comedy, and Mystery. HHTTG was a part of SciFi but if Planetfall is moved there from Adventure collection (where it does not belong) the bundles would be about the same size, very reasonable for $5.99 price point. Just throw in Arthur, Journey, and (of course!) LGOP can be redistributed between those bundles as well. The ideal solution would be to get Masterpieces -- and it would definitely sell at $9.99.
