I am certain that when GOG announced that they would have Tales of Monkey Island and the Sam and Max games the advertising blurb proudly stated the games would be available with localization (French, German, Italian and Portuiguese if I remember correctly). Considering neither none of the games have any localisation and that the PR blurb seems to be completely gone from the site, may I assume that this deal didn't work out as GOG wanted (Which, by the way, is a real shame) ?

When did they announce TellTale games? I only heard about them having a deal with TT when the games appeared here.

Have you tried going to TT's site? Maybe you have to download a patch or something from there.
It was the same day. GOG had a blurb about telltale, explaining who they are and what kind of games to expect. I followed a link from FB to it back then. I would gladly link you to it, but the only link under "telltale launch" on their FB page links now to http://www.gog.com/promo/telltale_launch

Just to clarify : I'm not mad at GOG. I just noticed the fact that the game is only in english,
