I have seen the cartoons in the past, even some of the latest one, and the movies, i guess alot here did and have grown up with them.
And now with the new movie (which had a poster of them jumping of a burning building which was received badly because of the resemblance of 9/11)
Never knew there was a female turtle, but them even being together with the power rangers?
Interesting...

I tried watching the old cartoons something like a year or two ago, and couldn't get past how bad it was. By bad i'm meaning it's a lot like Scooby-Doo, logic that didn't make sense. I don't recall if the cartoon TMNT had heavy reuse of animations, didn't get past like 4 episodes it felt too stupid.

The movies? Loved the first and second (and the third sucked). But brings forward that there was a fifth turtle? Didn't know... I know some artists are redoing their own versions of TMNT as all female cast or something, and it's quite good. Naturally being fan work it won't be a major targeting franchise...
I didn't get a chance to watch much of the shows, but I definitely remember that live-action series that introduced Venus. I don't think it lasted a full season. That was around the height of the Power Rangers' popularity, which brought other similar live action shows like VR Troopers, Superhero Samurai Cyber Squad or something, Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog, and a few others, IIRC.
Why does it have breasts? It's a turtle, for crying out loud!

I even remember an episode in 1 (or 2) turtle(s) was mind controlled.

All female mutant turtles have breasts. That should be so obvious that it goes without saying really.

I watched the pilot, but there was a reason I didn't watch the show. I might've been in school when it was on or something.

she is from the nexy mutation live action series ( least said about that one the better )

laird hated the idea of a female turtle because it meant that the tmnt were not alone nor were they a dead end they could have offspring and perpetuate their legacy

in other words they could propagate their species and not be the first and the last

now that viacom owns the tmnt franchise sh emight make a return
