The Old Spice guy did it. Conan O’Brien did it. And tomorrow GOG will do it! Ask us your questions tomorrow on [url=http://www.twitter.com/gogcom]Twitter (send the question @gogcom) or here on our very own forums, and GOG will record a video of your answer, post it to YouTube, and share the link here and on Twitter for your enjoyment.

Here’s the skinny:

WHO: Mostly Marcin and Guillaume (the actors who brought to life our Emmy award-winning* monks), but we may have other GOG employees answering questions if it seems necessary.

WHAT: Whatever you feel like asking. We’ve timed our editing and uploading efforts, and it takes us about 10 minutes to record a video and a reply, so you can expect that we’ll pick one question every 10 - 15 minutes and answer it.

WHEN: We’ll be accepting questions (and answering them live!) tomorrow, Wednesday, 8 December 2010 from 9 a.m. till noon EDT

WHERE: On Twitter and here on our forums.

WHY: Because we like you?

*Note: our lifelike portrayal of 12th-century monks, torn between doctrinal disputes and confessing to their errors, did not win any awards. But it should have.

TVs_Frank: But I don't want to make a twitter account. That place is evil....
Quote taken from the news post: "or here on our very own forums".

Thank you.

Catshade: If they need to tease tomorrow's surprise, it might be something big indeed.

Maybe it's a new publisher announcement.

Maybe it's Eidos/Square-Enix.

BELIEVE!
We're teasing tomorrow's surprise so that you have time to think of good questions before the live video Q&A. :D

jdaubenb: Will you record the whole live-portion?
Well, we'll be answering your questions (with a delay) and posting them on YouTube, so they will be preserved for posterity, yes.

jdaubenb: Ah, thanks - For some reason I thought YouTube did streaming now.
I do believe, if you have a hat made of money and walk around wearing pants of money while laughingly heating your offices with a money furnace, YouTube will talk to you about live streaming video.

Since we haven't got that kind of budget, we'll do the time-shifted option. Also, of course, the few minutes between receiving a question and filming it gives us some time to be funny. Trust us, you don't want to see our attempts at unpremeditated humor. :)

Catshade: If my timezone conversion is correct, the Q&A will start in one hour, right?
Ah, not quite. It starts a little less than 90 minutes from now.
Or wait, was that one of the questions we were supposed to answer during the Q&A session? You sly dog, you! :P
