Given that Rockstar have released several of their games for free, perhaps if enough people remind them of Tanktics they'll do the same with that one too.

I think it was released when customised units had just hit the RTS scene, so making your own tanks was a big part of the gameplay (if i recall correctly).

It wasn't particularly well recieved though.

[edit] Dunno why but Tanktics reminds me of Overboard for some reason.

I actually quite enjoy the old RTS games from mid 90's to early noughties and have grabbed a few when i see them cheap on amazon...even the generic titles that washed up with all the other gaming flotsam. Tanktics does look like it tried for something original and is definately worth a blast.
