Anyone played this? Found it over on Amazon (yes sorry, Region locked) and was wondering about it. Read pretty low reviews from popular media outlets and more positive reviews from a few gamers, but wanted to see if someone had first hand experience with it.

I saw it when I was looking through the DRM-free games of Gamerstage, the screenshots looked interesting but the reviews were so unanimously bad that I didn't bought it.
I have it but have only played a half hour of it. I got it on sale from GamersGate for $2 awhile back.

It's a very clean and polished Pirate game. The scope isn't as large as say Age of Pirates but it's still pretty decent. I'm not sure that I would pay much over $15 for it though.
Amazon has it on sale for like $5.90 or something along those lines. Think i may pick it up.

So i picked it up tonight. Played for about an hour to and hour 45 minutes. Decent game, definitely along the lines of Sid M's Pirates! But also a bit different with the light RPG aspects. All n all i'm enjoying the game so far, love the free roam aspect with trading and whatnot. Only gripe so far is your only allowed to accept one quest at a time.

Not a bad game for the 5 bucks spent.

I should probably load it back up and put some more time into it. I just gave it an initial run through to make sure that it worked.
