Well, I could see myself going for Tier 2 (Treasure) or Tier 3 (Adventure).

But one thing that disturbs me is that in the description on the main page for Tier 2 is a "PDF of 100 sketches and interactive map for TAG" announced - but none of it appears later in the "Included in this Tier" - descriptions...neither on the Tier 2 purchase-page, nor on the Tier 3 purchase-page.

Now, this might just be an oversight from the devs, but it are those little details, that make me very hesitant, to part with my money.

I can just say they exist! as I received them when nearly a year ago I purchased the OST of TAG as a sign of appreciation for it.....

Am I the only one who thinks that the old graphic art style is way better?

No, you're not. There are things I like about the new art direction, but overall I prefer the old retro look of the original, hands down. This new look is not cutting it, for me, and if I eventually support them it's as a 'thank you for Treasure Adventure Game' gesture, instead of 'I want to play Treasure Adventure World'.

It's not about retro vs. modern per se. A modern look could be great too, e.g. Rayman Legends, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, Fez, etc. It's just about execution really, and with Treasure Adventure World, it seems lacking. It looks kind of awkward, especially in motion. Maybe such detailed graphics is beyond the capabilities of such a small developer...? It is hard to understand because Treasure Adventure Game is a beautiful game. Other than problems with gamepad support, it really surprised me a game like that is freeware. Did they really think the new graphics would make it worth more? I don't agree. But it might be worth buying if they fix the gamepad support (I had set to the controls to the keyboard and then use my gamepad's software to map the buttons to the proper keyboard commands to play Treasure Adventure Game with a gamepad).
there is a demo available now, that Stephen, to say the truth, doesn't want to be distributed out of the backers circle due to possible major bugs still inside.

anyway, if someone, by testing it, wants to help him to track down and report some bug, here's the stuff:
