Lock old news posts. It might help stop the annoying spam, and the news posts seem to be the main ones that get targeted so make it so nobody can post after like a week.

I'm pretty sure they could figure out a way of making that happen automatically.

yeah, I don't expect them to do it manually. Or at all for that matter, it's just something I thought of.

But yeah, seems like a good idea. Who needs to post in old news posts anyway? Too bad the spam posts show up in random normal posts too..

That comic was pretty funny! I guess we can just wait it out until they enable captchas for new users or something like that.
