Ok, so just as I was getting immersed in Arx Fatalis, it's decided to start conking out on me and bluescreening. So I uninstalled it. Bummer. I was wondering if anyone could suggest some similar dungeon-y games that I might try out to scratch my itch? Please limit suggestions to games that are on GoG, and games that will run on a lower-end machine.

Thanks
I want to say the Ultima Underworld games..

I keep reading everywhere that Arx Fatalis was designed as a spiritual successor to the Ultima Underworld games so that's got to be right! Right?

I was playing Stonekeep the other day and something about it reminded me of Arx, although it plays more like a traditional grid based first person dungeon crawler than the more freeform approach of Ultima Underworld and Arx Fatalis.
The two Ultima Underworld are the only real answer to this question.

Unless you care not for top-notch quality games, you could always (try to) play Descent to Undermountain.
My wife refers to this game as the one where "I'm hungry" all the time. ;)

The only ones that I know of are the Ultima Underworld games, as previously stated in this thread.

I would also suggest Ultima IX - only some of which is dungeons, but it has more of the same real-time feel as Arx. It's not as good of a game, though.
Well, I purchased Ultima Underworld... have to wait till I get home to try it.

Man, GoG is Zapping my wallet lately -_-. I CANNOT AFFORD THIS!!! DARN YOU GOG, WITH YOUR AWESOME GAMES >:(
Daggerfall works too if you want is moar dungeony hack-n-slash action in FPP.
(edit: aside from UU the games mentioned here are NOT on GOG yet)

Most similar to Arx Fatalis, as mentioned, are the Ultima Underworld games. Arx Fatalis was practically a tribute to UU so it's a natural suggestion.

Different (in various ways) but still bearing some resemblance are System Shock (like UU but with a futuristic premise - in my opinion one of the best games ever made), Deus Ex (proto-cyberpunk style, every conspiracy theory ever made is real), Shadowcaster (DOOM engine action game based around shapeshifting), Strife (DOOM engine RPG-FPS hybrid - anachronistic fantasy La Résistance) and Thief (almost entirely about stealth - very good).

All those Barefoot_Monkey mentioned are good choices. Thief is a particularly interesting one, as the first game was originally planned as an RPG.

As for Daggerfall; an excellent game, and you can get a fully-kitted out works-on-modern-systems ready to go version here: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Daggerfall:Files

More importantly, it's FREE

However, be warned; it's really really really really hard. Harder than Morrowind by far, and far more obtuse. You'll spend most of your time running around wondering why you're dying of some obscure disease that you didn't realise you'd contracted...
I don't know about Ultima Underworld. I've played it for awhile, and...well, one part of me kinda likes it, another part finds it incredibly stale and bland, and a third part keeps telling me to trek on ahead to try and figure out why everyone loves the game so much.

Kinda how I felt about Daggerfall when I played it. I think I'm finding that I have a lot more tolerance for oldschool FPSs than I do for oldschool RPGs.

Still, I'm mostly reserving judgement. There is something weirdly compelling about the game, despite the horrific controls and ridiculously small draw distance.
