FUCK YOU SETH.

You cheap spammy fuckwit "pure luck I beat you - probably just cos you moved your difficulty down" asshole boss.

That is all.
Indeed, he's a real bitch....
Akuma, double Raging Demon, win :D

Been playing SFIV for awhile now. I noticed he sometimes has totally instant slams and moves. At other times he's easy. I can't really make out why.

As I said, pure luck. I think he cycles like the pokie machines when you gamble <$1 to try and get a dollar - if you know what I'm talking about. Pure luck if you can get him on easy...

And how do you unlock Akuma?

I managed to get through a small number of games on Medium, 3 rounds, without using a continue. Then again, for a pretty regular StreetFighter player since the days of SF2 onwards, I suck at StreetFighter.

You can either download a mod to unlock all characters. Or do it the hard way like I did:
http://www.videogamesblogger.com/2009/02/15/how-to-unlock-all-street-fighter-4-secret-characters-guide.htm#akuma

After changing Harddisks and formatting a couple of times, I got sick of unlocking the characters over and over, and now I'm using the unlock mod.
Seth is one reason I prefer the BlazBlue series over SF4.

Because Hakumen and Nu are even cheaper bastard bosses? Pffft.
Ah Seth ain't that bad.

I can beat him relativley easily on Normal, (may take another try or two. But I did beat him yesterday with Ken (thus getting the trophy) with little to no problems).

The only character I struggle to beat him with is Dan.
(I love Dan! he better than he used to be, but he's almost useless against Seth)

The main issues with him is his ultra (which is pretty easy to block if you get the timing right), his uppercut, his kick move, and the EX form of these moves are a NIGHTMARE
(the orb suck move can catch you offguard, but mostly it gives another opportunity to hit him hard)

I guess the teleport can be troublsome, (but arguably it can give you as many opportunities).

The main thing is to save the special bar for the second round, (he gets harder after you beat him once), and use Ultras and EX/Super move when you get the chance.

If he does the Dhalsim move you can jump into him a pound him hard with a quick combo.
Just after a sonic boom he can be a little vulnerable
(I think you can jump over those and air attack him)
(though don't stick around as he'll try his kick move afterwards, and if he has a EX it'll hurt bad)

If your a little cautious, and you have learned his behaviour, you can beat him.

AT LEAST HE ISN'T SNK CHEAP!! XD

Both of those are far easier for me to handle than that EX spamming bastard.

What I did was simply put the rounds to ONE. That made it quicker, but Seth stopped being "nice" in the first round... So it WAS hard but far quicker.
