keeveek: Well, I remember over 1000 titles (including DLCs) were discounted. If you notice only daily deals on steam sale - poor you.
Those are pretty much the only ones discounted enough to make them a good offer.

EDIT: I mean, I only buy stuff on Steam when it is extremely cheap, otherwise I'm looking for a DRM-free solution.

Not really. There are often a TON of stuff that have base discounts of 50-75 percent. They just don't get featured as dailies because they're older, or niche.

Not true. I bought some games for like 1 euro , and there were never displayed on the main page.

I really recommend sweeping through whole discount catalogue, if you're not buying only mainstream games.

Also @Sinizine:
Really? Well, I guess thanks for the advice. :) Not sure how many games I'll buy this sale, though. I'll try to spend as little as possible.
Yeah, really :P I bought entire Cossacks + American conquest antology for 5 bucks, Operation Flashpoint (original game) for pocket money, and so on.

I really recommend some searching, if you already have most of "big and new" games you like to buy.
Just use a site to sort the store by discount. I got a good 10 or so older games last year that were just at their default sale prices (like Arx Fatalis for 2 bucks).

That does sound like a pretty good deal.
Well, I gess I'll do some searching when the sale finally arrives. But then again, I hope some of the better deals will be posted on here too. :>

taczillabr: The funny thing is that a few people believe this "leaked list" is all the summer same will be, and it's not. Prices for the other 1000 games were not leaked.

Coelocanth: I highly doubt very many people think that's all there will be. There will also be the usual discounts on a large portion of the catalog, but these are ones that are listed are a bit disappointing.
Hey Coelocanth, you've been missing from GOG don't you, eh? :)

Well, I sad a few, a few people. Well we, sale veterans, already own much of that was interesting from those packs. There's not a single indie pack which I don't have at least one title already, thanks to past sales.
Besides Rage, SSFIVA and SF VS Tekken, I highly doubt I'll get anything.

That is, if those 3 go on sale for under 10 USDs, which I think is not probable.
I want Sniper V2 on sale, badly
If that list is true, then there are only about 5 or 6 titles I want and 4 of them are Indie games (I just wish Rocksteady games didn't slap limited securom revokeability with the steam version of Arkham City )

cw8: I want Sniper V2 on sale, badly
Get Games Go had it on sale recently for $20 via a coupon code [REZZED04] (50% off their base price of $40). The base price on Steam is $50, so it's unlikely to see a much cheaper price than that -- I'd expect 66% off at the most bring the price to around $17.

Unfortunately, I think that voucher may have expired already.

Rage almost certainly will. It's been in the 10 and sub 10 buck range a couple times on various sites now. The others yeah, unlikely. Capcom has never been known for their discounts.
I might actually "buy" something this time. Maybe the Bioshocks, newer Fallout games (with all the DLC) and maybe e.g. some FEAR games. Why not Crysis 1-2 as well. But only if they are supercheap (few bucks), otherwise I'll continue the waiting game for now.

Skyrim I'll probably still pass for now, until I've completed or at least extensively tried Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind and Oblivion. Not to get ahead of myself. :)
