EDIT: I suppose, to be fair, EA has far more resources than GOG and CDP.
i live walking distance from EA. I have tried to return a physical copy to thier HQ. didnt go over well.

LOL! EA is so full of bullshit. They spin all day long but it is all lies and deception. I like many of their games but as a company I detest them.

They cry that steep discounts cheapen IP while at the very same time offering steep discounts on their games in various places such as Steam.

Do they really rely on consumers being too stupid to see this hypocrisy?

I would never detest a company unless they really cheat on me. And it's probably exagerrated that it's all lies and deception.

Of course the statement is foul. It's relatively easy to see through. But it's just a statement, not really anything significant. Now a new DRM scheme that would be something.
