Fenixp: I'm just wondering, since it was brought up in another topic: Does anyone know if there is a point to Steam's regional restrictions?
Weclock: so that developers don't get screwed out of selling a game for what an appropriate price is in one region, only to have it be activated in another region for what would be considerably less money.
 for example, $50 L4D in U.S. but $30 L4D in albania.
Meh, I don't like that logic. If they can sell it at 30 bucks in Albania and make a profit, then why not sell it everywhere at that price. If they're selling it at a higher price just because they think they can get away with it, that seems pretty shitty to me.
Also, haven't weekend promos shown that if they have it at a lower price they'll make more sales and subsequently more profit anyway?
