9-disc set. 6 for the films, 3 for the extras. No 3D in this release. $140 suggested price and release at September 2011.

Yet, Amazon already has a pre-order for $90. hahaha. Damn I would usually wait for a 50% off/$45 but I know I'll have to get this soon.
And let me guess, the theatrical releases are nowhere to be found, even with the wonders of seamless branching that Blu-ray technology offers?

No, that would be another $140 suggested price. Just not in USD, but rather USMAD (United sovereign mutated ants dollars).

Finally! Something I can spend all those mutated ant dollars on.

And people told me they were useless!
6 for the films!?!?! but there are only really 3 films...
No holiday special?
Just got a blu-ray player, too. Guess it's a good excuse to finally get those movies.
inferior versions of the three star wars movies, and three shitty CGI tech demos? who wants that?
So you bought the first three on VHS. Then bought them again when released on DVD. Then bought them again when remastered and given the new digital effects. Then bought the other first three when they came out on DVD. Then bought the six-pack collectors edition. Then bought the six-pack Bluray version.

But wait, there's MORE! The films are soon to be remastered yet again, this time in 3D. So hey, you still have at least one more chance, after the Bluray release, to buy them all over again. That is, after you pay $12 or more each to see them in the theater in big screen 3D glory.

Yippee! Oh wait, I have only 2D vision. Damn.
This collection is most likely the remastered versions. I guess we will have to wait even longer to see the unadulterated Original Trilogy on Blu-ray, possibly even after the 3D versions...

Han shot first!
