In my opinion, this is one of the best and most important releases this year

Splatterhouse is a very good remake of the original 1988 game and I really think they nailed the Look and feel

You thought that Blood was gory? you haven't seen anything until you have seen splatterhouse. I have been playing it and I'm loving it, I really reccomend it to everyone with a PS3 or 360

I actually owned a Turbograffix 16 for a week or so when I was a kid. I think my grandma got it for me at a garage sale or something... it was during my SNES days, if I recall correctly. I remember Bonk and some RPG were the only games I liked for it, but I did have one of the Splatterhouse games. I'm pretty sure I didn't like it... don't remember why. Maybe I should try a ROM sometime.

In any event I sold the system pretty quickly to get, I think, Mortal Kombat 3.

Perhaps it was because all you do in the game is walk from left to right and occasionally hit a button to kill something?
That's what I remember, a lot of walking and killing things with one blow.

Fear not if you dont have your TG16 anymore

what's cool about the new game is that it includes All of the 3 Original Splatterhouse games =)

the original uncensored japanese arcade game and the 2nd and 3rd games on the MEGA DRIVE
There's a name I never expected to hear again.
I'm happy that the remake is as gory as the original arcade. I'm still trying to figure out where to get the 1988 PCB for my soon-to-be-purchased supergun setup, though. I will never forget how this game influenced me (and my dreams) when I was a kid....

That pretty much sums up the gameplay of about 90% of the games that were around when i was a kid.
It was a very cool game, had a lot of style and humour. Didn't take itself seriously and it was good mindless fun. Only downside was the final boss, really. Tad anticlimactic. But you get the original three games so that offset the terrible final boss.

The Mask was surprisingly awesome aswell.

I like the fact that the mask spoke to you...

that gave it much more personality :)
