Anyone play this? Seems to have received great reviews and looks awesome but no thread on it here or anywhere else really. The new PC port is a Walmart exclusive in the States, but it is actually a good port with a great list of visual options and smooth controls and performance.

I love the "noir" levels, they play like Splinter Cell mixed with Spider-Man (duh) and have a lovely look to them. Every "universe" looks lovely really, especially maxed out on PC. The gameplay when not stealthing it up is mostly just beat 'em up stuff, but the Spider-Man license and powers make it fun.

Shame to see so little interest in it so I thought I would spread the word a bit... good PC port, $20, pretty good game.
Only 20 bucks? Might need to find a Walmart to grab that. What kind of DRM?

And from what I hear, people felt the game to be a bit boring, but people find EVERY Spidey game boring (some are pretty fun :p).

Disc-check. Activision doesn't really use DRM other than Steam for the CoD games, and I think their motivation there is more multiplayer benefits than DRM.
Colour me interested. I've been waiting for this too. Glad to see Acti using only disc check for it.
I talked to some Toys R Us employee that couldn't say enough about how good Shattered Dimensions was. It sounds like it has a great plot and an excellent villain roster.

Yeah, every level is a different villain and there are 13 levels, so it seems to be packed. Some of them are the future or noir versions though, just so you know. Each level seems to be an hour or so long too, so it means the game is probably an easy 12+ hours.
I always hated Spiderman 2099 with a passion. It was so horrible. He had rollerblades. Rollerblades!
For those interested, Yahtzee has reviewed the game. As always, take care not to take everything he says at face value ;-)
I didn't like it. The whole Noir Spider-Man is riffing on Arkham Asylum, but not doing a very good job doing so. The voice cast is something to brag about, but the lines they give the web-head are terrible.
