StingingVelvet: Got Space Marine in the recent Amazon sale. Am I nuts or does it control like shit? With a pad OR a mouse, both ways feel off and annoying to play. Also the health system seems annoying and scattershot, I keep dying on normal when usually I play shooters and such on hard mode.

Any tips?
I forgot to say, dying on "Normal" mode of Space Marine is completely normal. Until you learn the game it's like that. The health system is actually amazing, you deal tons of damage but you'll whiter under focused fire just like your enemies. Make use of your shield (there's a game play and story reason for it), be aware when you're done with shield and into health, then might be the time to do some fancy footwork. Also, you do have a combat roll, it has a cooldown, but you can use it strategically to un-fuck yourself after you get good at it.

I just finished the campaign, using my Xbox360 controller. Had one hell of a lot of fun.

I didn't find the controls particularly bad, in fact, I can't remember a moment I got killed because of it.

That said, I did die a lot, mainly because I failed to remember Titus is not the infinite damage sponge his massive size and armor make him look like.

Also, I quite enjoyed the final battle, even though it's not your traditional final battle. :)

The keyboard is a little cumbersome for the melee stuff but I find the analog aiming and camera movement to be horrible, worse than many other games I have played with a controller. I dunno. I'm getting used to the keyboard for fighting and will probably stick with that.
