This sucks! I always liked this develeper.
I'm not one to blow my own trumpet, usually, but

I don't usually get sentimental over old game studios closing, but Psygnosis? Ok they made some crappy games too I think, but on Amiga they were one of the forerunners constantly pushing Amiga to its limits. They are less familiar to me from their console endeavours, Playstation and such. Maybe I wasn't that much into arcade racing games.

I loved Menace, and even Barbarian and Obliterator even though the latter two had odd and clunky controls. Oh the music and sound effects...

They have made some really cool games.
Too many companies are going bust these days. Hopefully the members of studio liverpool can make their own new company, and do a kickstarter or something like Schaefer did when he made Double Fine.
