But again, Squeenixdos.
This is the same company that keeps selling The Last Remnant for $40 on Steam when the game's been clearanced on XBox 360 and available for less than $10 for several months already. :P
It was cool though. Last Remnant PC turned out to be my favorite Squenix JRPG. It's battle system is different from FF so it might not be for everyone. Just avoid the XBox 360 version. It's broken and probably responsible for most of the poor reviews. Charging $10 for it is borderline unethical.

A friend of mine really recommended this game and I do want to buy it, but again, $40.

It amazes me that most of the press regarding this game involved Stevana Case's rack. When looking for her real name (instead of Killcreak) I came across this press release:
http://venturebeat.com/2010/08/27/playspan-snags-a-gaming-icon-as-its-sales-chief/
Lol, so she's still in gaming, sorta. What ever happened to level design and game development Stevie? (no, being really good at Quake doesn't magically grant you development skills)
I still remember firingsquad microwaving their review copy of Daikatana.
I think Playboy paid Case for some pics wonder how much she got, anyone know?
EDIT: I guess I'd be remiss for the newbies, these were some of the pics everyone was drooling over back in the day (distracting them from the steaming turd of a game that was Daikatana): http://www.gamestar.de/index.cfm?pid=86&pk=1336002
I guess she airbrushes well.

Kind of ironic that, after all of the advertising it is Deus Ex that made Daikatana its bitch.

Ok another reason why it might be fake. It had Thief: The Dark Project on it too. 2 games on one day?

So you could try that if you want to make Anachronox work.

Did anybody notice that one of the GoG staff mentioned he was currently playing through this?
