For a post that was created humorously merely to see the level of interest and kinship for the Legacy of Kain series, it has certainly garnered some ill will. Tough crowd here. Interesting, but tough. I shall return to my hole.

Everything with what people want, do we have any good old vorlons in here?

It's all good. ; ) I really am surprised that there have been this many responses and none that address the game's merits, but I suppose I am pretty late for the discussion. Most all the games I play are old, and by the time I discover them and am fired up about them, the rest of the world has moved on!

The only one i've played is Soul Reaver with Azraiel going through the lands or whatever to get revenge for being cast down into the death dimension or whatever it was. I have also played a bit of Legacy of Kain 2 on the consoles as well I think, but never got that far into it. One thing I didn;t like much was having the blood meter tick down as you played. I could see it going down as you used it up doing skills and if you got hurt(cut/etc) but the timed thing and the constant need to feed was a bit of a turnoff although I did/do love the world and characters I did meet and experience.

Right now I'm playing the original Blood Omen - the voice acting is incredible. I remember loving Kain as an anti hero when I first started gaming.

On another note, I see there is a new patch for Arx Fatalis for modern systems. I gotta do that again!

I'm currently doing an on/'off let's play but it's not getting much attention. If you want you could hook it up with a comment or two. ;)

I want my friend's sister, indeed. Maybe I should ask her, I would have more luck than requesting some random games on the GOG forum for sure :-P
