It would seem that Telika won the prize. :)

Or not. :D

SLP2000: Alison couldn't break Jacobs arm, because he lost his right arm, and toilet doors were on his right, so he couldn't be hit in his left arm.

But I guess that's not enough too.

Telika: Oh. Excellent point. It means that Jacob was going towards the stairs, and not coming up from them. You win.

(I was suspecting that possibility, as I realised that we had only his words about being on the stairs, but I hadn't found how to prove it. You do.)
That is the very solution of the mystery! The fact is that Jacob WAS hit on his arm. The heavy blow that he received obviously left some mark. I write a several observation that you as a detective made. If his arm would be unharmed I should have mention it. But it didn't so it means that his arm was hit. And just as Telika explained: Jacob was trying to go downstairs not upstairs. He certainly lied and you've just nailed him!
Well, technically Maladwyn may be the first to have completed the puzzle entirely on his own. We should all three share the honor.

"The division seems rather unfair," I remarked. "You have done all the work in this business. I get a wife out of it, Jones gets the credit, pray what remains for you?"

"For me," said Sherlock Holmes, "there still remains the cocaine-bottle." And he stretched his long white hand up for it.

As for the prize... I was a bit confused who should get it. But the fact is that it was Telika who gave the final explanation so the you can name your game ;)

On the other hand SLP2000 was the first one who made a very important observation so I've decided to award him wit 6$ game of his choice.

Congratulations!

And by the way: in a few minutes I will start a new topic with a second round of the game. The murderer has been caught but the mystery is not yet solved completely. There are still some questions that are waiting to be revealed!

Perhaps yes, but he was not the firt to post it and that was what I wrote: "be the first to post the answer supported with a strong proof" ;)

I came in late, but it was a good mystery nevertheless. I will try my luck at the second round!
