That is a ROM Hack anyways if I understand correctly. Don't use emulators (minus DOSbox... & I only use it sparingly). I'm terrified of getting busted for it.

The SNES emulators don't use SNES bios files so nothing to fear. ROM hacks are considered under fair use law since they are not sold to make a profit and are different from the original game.

Well you don't have to download the original SNES games if you don't want to as the ROM hacks run fine on their own. And they are legal because they're all around quite in the open and I don't see Nintendo issuing C&D's.
