Psyringe: I'm another member who's "haul" consists of a lot of Nothing.

Don't really like this sale format, at all. Whenever a vendor, of whichever wares, tells me that I have to buybuybuybuy, quickquickquickquick or it's gonegonegonegone, I immediately wonder "Why is it so important for them to not let me think this offer through properly?". Combine this with a sales format that pretty much requires me to waste my time staring at a screne where nothing happens, and you have a sale that leaves me utterly disinterested.

Ah well. There will be sales that are more to my liking, like the "series bundles" we had last winter.

etna87: Same here. I don't feel the urge to waste my time on GOG refreshing every minute... whereas I would at least enjoy browsing through the games in a regular sale in the evening. But whatever, if it makes me do something useful instead of visiting GOG, I should be happy about it.
Agreed and if they were going to give away free stuff, allow everyone the chance to get it.
Unlike during last Fall promo, this time I bought only two games: Valdis Story (I would have garbbed it at full price sooner or alter, but with a 75% discount who can complain?) and SWAT 3. Better this way: the other Insomnia promo was driving me mad!
Shadowrun Returns - very happy with it, I had been waiting for the price to drop to something like this
Valdis Story - we'll see; playing a bit of the demo didn't fully convince me yet, but generally I really like metroidvania games
Papers, Please - supposedly very good, but I can't imagine it to be much fun; I'll gladly let it surprise me
Gomo - well, it's a short adventure and it was cheap, but what I've seen of it so far also looks cheap and kind of bland
Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness - bought it for the sake of completeness and out of curiosity, although it's supposed to be bad and, as I realized only afterwards, not necessarily compatible with Win8

I just got Sam & Max Save the World and Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space. If I ever get around to finishing ...Hit the Road I want to have the next episodes handy.

I didn't notice Pirates Gold go by the first time. Hm.

I have so many great games sitting "sealed" it's kinda dumb to buy more.
My "haul":

Freebie
Gateways-nothing special but still better than Nothing:The Game that some others got as freebie... :-)

Bought so far (in chronological order)
Deus Ex 2-Invisible War
The Bard's Tale

Waiting for (in OMG-I-TOTALLY-HAVE-TO-BUY-THIS!!! order)
The Last Express
Heretic Kingdoms: The Inquisition
Teslagrad
Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers
Shadowrun Returns

Let's hope I'm not asleep when they appear in the 3rd round. It would be such a bummer... :-|
I bought 24 games (omg), already owned a dozen, undecided about 6 (now gone), wishlisted a pair, won 0 freebies.

I emphatically concur.

Couldn't disagree more. This session format is a billion times better than the last that had the millisecond "frees" on the board. Much of the discontent around this sale format is based solely on that. The randoms free is a much better way to go, both to drive business and for the customer who is pleasantly surprised.

Rather have a millisecond free, then none at all because I was too slow on a game I wanted originally anyway.
The first Insomnia sale that I did. Pleasantly surprised and it was a nice hunt.
More than 48 hours awake and relieved that I now can get some sleep.

That's my haul and I'm done with this sale:

Aarklash: Legacy
Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura
Bard's Tale, The
Betrayal at Krondor Pack
Blitzkrieg Anthology
Cannon Fodder
Capitalism 2
Children of the Nile Complete
Deponia 3: Goodbye Deponia
Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive
FTL - Advanced Edition
Full Spectrum Warrior
Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers
Gateways
Gobliiins pack
Heretic Kingdoms: The Inquisition
Inquisitor
Jack Keane 2: The Fire Within
Long Live the Queen
Pixeljunk Shooter
Race the Sun
S2: Silent Storm Gold Edition
Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space
Sam & Max Save the World
Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse
Star Control 1+2
Stronghold Crusader HD
SWAT 3: Tactical Game of the Year Edition
Teslagrad
Valdis Story: Abyssal City
Vampire The Masquerade - Redemption
Zork Anthology, The

The only thing that made me sad (albeit minimally so) is the fact that Deponia 2 wasn't up for sale.
Ah, well next time I suppose. :)

Happy hunting, everyone. :)
Sang Froid was the only game on my wishlist that appeared in this sale, and I was lucky enough to nab it on the second round. I'm doing some renovating, so I'm around the house and can check on the computer every now and then, so I managed to see the second round of SF. Other than that, the only thing that mildly interests me in this batch of sale games is Driftmoon and maybe Critter Chronicles, but I've missed them both a couple times. Not that this is a big deal, since I've a massive back log of games and have just added Sang Froid to the mix as well...
Shadowrun.

Also got a free code for Raiden Legacy, which I happen to already have, when I clicked to check if I already had it... Thinking about giving it to one of the kids I entertain with roleplaying games at a local youth center.

Really itching to get Flatout 2, but the timing really doesn't agree with me, kinda hating this sale atm.

I have to leave in 30 minutes just as the sale resets to round 3 ><!

Not a thing. I am too slow and got too little time for such shenanigans.
It is in fact - GOG's haul. You've given them money, they've given you opportunity to play games you probably wont (I'm going on macro stats here, not personal accusation).

Overall, GOG (and the publishers) are getting the hard stuff. They get the haul.

Speak for yourself. Will definitely play Flatout 2 at the next LAN party I organize with friends when I get it.

Shadowrun made top of the list to play after I'm done with Teslagrad and Long Live the Queen, through I have a feeling the game probably won't meet my expectations.
