Okay, This clearly isn't going to work.

It was a load of rectangles with numbers at the top and bottom that looked like dominoes.

Lol, no worries.

On another note, "community mods" would be able to delete threads like these when requested. Shame we dont have any.

1. You quoted me as saying a double negative. Shameful.
2. You just woke my girlfriend as my apparently very eager loaned braille interface started rattling when it recognised that (I'm not blind, I'm testing it for a colleague that is and can't get it to work under Linux).
3. Monkeynuts.

(Just kidding by the way, not angry, although my gf just had a whinge for a second and then fell asleep again).

Hahaha :P I didn't know such devices existed, Is it really possible to hear braille?

No, not usually. The braille terminal just makes a horrendous racket when all the pins shift. My fault for leaving it plugged in.

You did solve a problem for me though. My custom Firefox extension wouldn't output any of the text to the braille terminal before, and it seems it was because it was expecting Unicode while Firefox was outputting in ISO8559.
