Hey guys! Bought my first game in GOG today and I'm using the gog.com downloader, but the download speeds are not impressive (was at about 15-16 kb/s for a long time).

Is it usually this slow or is it my problem?

Have you tried NOT using the downloader ? It doesn't drop below 450kB/s for me...

Just tried downloading a bit through the browser and the speed was about the same. It's going at over 100 kb/s now,which is better, but still quite a lot below your speed.

Don't think it is my connection's problem, maybe a problem with the firewall? I use zone alarm free edition.

Yesterday during the day i was getting ridiculously low speeds, 5 to 10 KB/s. Then at night i got really good speeds, over 3.5 Mb/s.

Today during the day the speeds were back down to the same 5 to 10 Kb/s. Just tested again and i'm getting speeds around 1 to 1.5 Mb/s.

You're not with Zon by any chance ?

After some testing it looks like which kind of speeds i get from gog are dependant of time of day, don't know if it's the same for you, which is a bit strange 'cause i get good speeds from everywhere else around the clock.

I've sent a mail to support yesterday to see if they could look into this and they'e trying to figure it out.

Maybe you could send them a mail too, since our ISP is the same it could be that the cause for our issues it's also the same.
