Awesome!
I am totally getting this! :)
Definitely want it.

The crossbows look cool although I wish the game had them since the beginning.

KOC: I was wondering whether that was a scripted scene or not (probably is) - it would be cool if you can actually break the ice. Imagine luring one of those giant fat ice trolls out there and see him fall through and drown :)
Yeah, it probably is. But at least the ice-breaking animation is in the game now. So possibly modders can do something with that to make it be able to happen on any patch of ice large enough (though I don't know if there is a way to have locations sense "weights" of creatures or whatever). Probably too much imagination from a scene that is most likely scripted. Oh well.

Indeed. Everything in Skyrim is based on a script. If the ice breaking animation is there, modders can do wonders with it.
Hey a chance to dust some vamps and not fall in love with some sparkly weirdo? I'm in. Too much stuff has too much pansy vampire stuff. Glad to see you can murder them, or if you join them at least they're actually y'know, gross and creepy.
I trust Skyrim to handle vampires in a much more interesting way than Oblivion did. I hope we get some clan stuff like Morrowind and some real moral grey areas and dark shit.
Saw it yesterday, gotta say im pretty hyped about Dawnguard. Absolutely LOVE the way Vampires are looking here, all monsterous and whatnot. Definitely thinking my first playthrough with Dawnguard is going to be the vampire side of it. To be honest i love that the Xbox guys are getting it first. I have no problems with letting them beta test that crap and get it all nice and purty for my PC.
I can become a flying abomination? Cool! Doesn't matter anyway. At this point I am a werewolf, the Nightmother's Listener, and a Nightingale of Nocturnal. And I'm on good terms with all the other Daedra. So...the Dawnguard is doomed. *mwahahaha!*
Here's some more info. So far this looks like it's shaping up to be awesome. I'm excited! :D
