I'm trying to buy a game (Star Control 3), but the site just hangs when I try to get to my shopping cart or check out... Is anyone else having this problem?

Joking about the quality of your game choice aside, the site has been performing poorly today, most likely due to the increased traffic from the 6 millionth game download brouhaha and the Witcher 2 price drop. If it doesn't clear up soon, I'd suggest you give it a shot tomorrow.

Ha ha oh wow wa wee wow. Paying customers are being shut out because of lag from a free game givaway. Sticking your wang in a meat grinder a bit, eh GOG? Someone would lose their job without ceremony if something like this happened at my company.

But anyway, the order process does work, it just took about half an hour. Thanks for the response.

Oh and as for the game, that's a piece of my childhood, dammit. Name any of the adored games of your formative years and I bet I could find bad things to say about them.

As a user that wouldn't have known about this site without this giveaway, and one who plans to buy several games when the checkout system starts working again, I'd have to say I have a different opinion friend. :D

There is no need to raise your voice, because: The problem is only temporary and it is not GOG's real fault just other people impatience to play bonus game during this weekend. GOG is solid company so such temporary period will not change my point of view.
