The only "code" posted by Fujek I could see there is this:

It was in the first contest thread.

So 1o2 means 1st letter of the word starting on 2 (P of PAINKILLER) and so on.
Plain numbers are plain numbers since the crossword contains only letters.
You end up with a 16 characters string, which is the code.

I figured that out, but I didn't have time to solve the crossword yesterday so.... :(
