I don't mind most kinds of DRM. I just have a huge problem with limited activations. I don't mind having to activate a game, it ensures that I'm a legit customer - and I have no problem with that. But there's absolutely NO REASON for me to only be able to activate it very few times. That's it.
I think I'll spend the money on other stuff. Like the Sam and Max seasons....
I'd actually argue that any activation is limited, really. Eventually the servers will be gone or taken down and you'll be left without a game. I have games that I play that are very old, that won't be possible with many games from this current generation and I'm sad for it. My daughter will find it impossible to replay her favorites from her childhood, unlike me, I've been able to enjoy them all over again.
At any rate, you get huge props from me for knowing what your "I'm not gonna take it anymore," limit is and sticking to it.
