Hello fellow GOG users,

I recently started a blog about games, which among other things talks about older games from a historical perspective. I thought other GOG users might be interested... so far I've covered Might and Magic Book One and Outcast, and I will be doing others. I'll also sometimes talk about other game-related things. If you are interested it's here:

Feel free to leave feedback, but keep in mind that I'm new to blogging so I'm still figuring out some stuff. For example right now I think I need to manually approve comments; I might change that later but I don't want to just leave it open for fear of spam posts.

I hope no one is offended by this shameless plug! Thanks for reading.

I hope you do the Realms of Arkania games. They deserve to be mentioned when you talk about the history of games. You don't find many true role playing video games around. All those of today fall so short, it's almost sad.

I'm not really a blog reader or internet user, but I left a little comment ;). I forgot to mention that you can't smell a tutorial, but you can a nice big thick paper manual :(.
Love the History Lessons - Keep them up
This blog is great. I love it.

I've bought the Realms of Arkania games from GOG but haven't played them yet. When I get around to them, I'll be sure to do a History Lessons post (or several). I do have a limited amount of time to play games though so that will certainly affect when I can post things... I'm still in the middle of Deus Ex: Human Revolution right now so in the near future my History Lessons posts will have to be for games I've already played.

Thanks to everyone for reading! I will hopefully figure out a better way to get your comments approved faster.
Just a quick note to let people know that I figured out how to activate the spam filter on my blog (or rather, I realized that it was already on), so now comments no longer need manual approval.

There's also one new post, a History Lesson on Another World. This one's a bit different from the others because I actually played the game back when it was released, so it's more of a comparison of what it was like to play then versus playing the re-release now.

I promise I won't advertise every new post here, I mainly just wanted to let people know that leaving comments is now much less annoying.
I just realized I commented on your blog but not here. :$

Just wanted to say I like your approach. It's nice to see something new out there amongst all the "review" sites. :] I've already bookmarked you and look forward to your next post.
Shameless bump, because now I'm writing for the blog as well!

Hmm, I wonder if any other goggers have a blog? I would be interested in reading them :)
