Hopefully that version will quash some of the remaining bugs as i've been holding off playing Dragonfall because of that.

Great news!

And what bugs are you talking about? I played through Dragonfall twice, I only ran into one minor bug that has since been patched.

Something to do with combat skills, equipment stat bounuses or something I think, can't remember, I found it on a Steam thread some weeks ago. Might have been more on the Dead Man's Switch campaign side as I think an update introduced some bugs to that. Could have sworn there were some introduced in Dragonfall though.

Excellent news! I had no issues with bugs in Dragonfall, but I'll gladly give it another go with new content.
Shadowrun was very linear and the environments not very interactive at all, I mean there was nothing to do, except for a few times where you found object on some very few places other than that nothing to pick or do...is dragonfall better in those aspects?

Much. Granted, you can't go back to the site of the various missions once they are done, but in between you have plenty of freedom to wander around the hub and chat with the locals. That's not even getting into some of the things the player can do that have long term impact.

I see, thanks!
Maybe I'll pick it up later, gotta finish divinity original sin and if it came out the final release wasteland 2
Awesome, cheers to that!
That's what I like to read, developers committed to improve their work after its release from feedback.

I have really liked to play Shadowrun on SNES back then, it was really different from other titles, with a futuristic and criminal feel of a RPG.. It was difficult, however and I can only recall enjoying much of it, and dying A LOT..

I have the new game on GOG, from the last Insomnia sale, lucky gift.. But didn't play it, yet, backlog..

I saw in the Steam Workshop, a remade SNES version in the making and that was it, I purchased it again from the Humble Store not long ago at 5 euros.. The Dragonfall expansion is in my wishlist, as I am not likely to play Returns anytime soon, too many games already installed in the waiting, but damn is it good to know they are coming with a free DC update, when I'll get it..

That's the way, long term relationship with your fans!! :)

Meh, I haven't even bothered to finish Dead Man's Switch yet I found it so bad. SRR was the biggest disappointment of a game I've played in a long time.

Loved Dragonfall, definitely replaying another time when the DC is released. Hope they're working on the next exppack or Hong Kong or whatever is next on their list.

Hmm well whatever they're whining about in the steam forums it can't be that detrimental to the game.
I've played through with melee and shaman characters, and custom campaigns with mage and guns and didn't notice any issues with skills and such. The worst skill bug I encountered was shaman barriers not working properly and that was pre-dragonfall.
Oh sure another thread to make me regret not picking it up last week (although the real reason was the fact that I have a game or so "on deck" already) - hopefully this means when I do get a hankering to dive back in, there might be a new feature or two to check out.

Some people should read less and play more, Dragonfall is great :)
