Forget "running away" to join the circus, some woman left her infant child behind at one.
I live not too far away from Greenville, and normally around this time of year the Ringling Bros/Barnum and Bailey circuses (circii?) would be at Columbia. We used to take my mom to the circus every year for her birthday on Feb. 9th, but ever since the shows got bought out by Disney we've been looking for alternate "traditions". And besides, this year I'm in Oz helping my mum's sister clean up, and my parents are taking a vacation to Rome with their Catholic church group. They left yesterday I think.
