Is there a way to search the member list, and find someone's account? And a Friends feature? If not, can we get that, please? :)

There isn't anything like that yet, and there are no form of public profiles. The closest you get is the GogPM service that Barefoot_Monkey started, and even that is so far only centered on just that, private messages. It does contain a list of people who signed up for GogPM though.
