The arrival of the LA adventures on GOG has me wondering about using ScummVM to play them on my Android tablet. I'm sure this must be possible but it'd be great to get some instructions/suggestions for doing so.

Has anybody done this? Is there anything GOG-specific I should know about setting these games up with ScummVM?

Thanks!

If you can point scummvm at the game folder and have it notice that it's a playable game on windows, you should be able to do the same on android without issue.

However this probably won't work with Monkey Island as it's not the original version. For that game you'll need to follow this:

To convert it to the original version. once scummvm picks it up on windows it should likewise work in android.
And bear in mind that this was written years ago for the original special edition release. If GOG have renamed the executable or anything like that, you'll need to go into the batch file and rename as needed.

one more thing about scummvm and monkey island. lucasarts did something to it to break it working with scummvm. the scummvm guys are keeping out of it. it is fairly small, and quick to fix, but is somewhat difficult. the instructions on what to do are not over at the scummvm forums as any time somebody mentions it gets taken down. so dig around and you'll find it.

I speak of the old re-release, not gog's release.

Yes, I have played dozens of games on my mobile with ScummVM, it's defiantly a possibility.

I know that those games that were released at Steam were un-playable until recently, although from what I read in the ScummVM forums their GOG releases are using ScummVM.
