Well I recently just started playing this game I've put about two hours in to it so far and I have to say I love it and I usually hate point and click games. Now I just have some questions...

I'm not to clear in why Michael moved to the house

Am I going to see any monsters?

How long is the game?

Or, so as not to be so damn rude about it Lexor....

There is a forum created for each game / series separately crdy123 - you would be a lot better off trying to ask your questions in there. No doubt someone here will eventually come along and help you out, but you would probably get your questions answered a lot quicker in the scratches forum.

Not got the game myself unfortunately, so can't help you myself.

I doubt that, actually. I have never even looked at the game-specific subforums for most of the games I own. Unless you're having some kind of technical problem there really is little reason to go there. I believe making a separate forum for every game or series fragments the forum traffic way too much. I bet I could post a gift code to some game-specific forum that would remain unredeemed for months.

hmm, Only if you post it to MOO3 or VR Soccer :)

Yes, this is an ongoing problem. What I'd love would be a Reddit-style solution, in which you'd have say a single "Specific Game Threads" forum and you'd select which of the many subfora you'd want to see in there grouped together and which to ignore.

Well, one can dream.

And crdy, you will not see any monsters in the game. Unless they changed that in the director's cut which I haven't played, but I doubt that. And it's not very long, but a combination of badly signposted puzzles and pixel hunting means you can spend countless hours on it without ever moving forward, so I can't really give you an estimate.
Michael is a writer, he moved to the house for ambiance, inspiration to finish his book.

That is the reason I didnt post there
I'm currently playing the game (about 2 hours played) and I'm loving it so far. Don't neglect reading books and notes (or even use the phone), or you'll miss interesting parts of the storyline (such as why Michael moved to that mansion, but Namur already answered that for you) .
I love that game.

As for the monsters... it's really worth it to see for yourself.
I really like these kinds of games, but I've been putting off getting it for awhile now. Maybe when I get paid this weekend I'll pick it up. Turn the speakers up and the lights off. :D
I have finished the game today. Wow. Awesome game. And I wasn't expecting anything from a game that I blindly bought during Halloween sales.
