spindown: I doubt that, actually. I have never even looked at the game-specific subforums for most of the games I own. Unless you're having some kind of technical problem there really is little reason to go there. I believe making a separate forum for every game or series fragments the forum traffic way too much. I bet I could post a gift code to some game-specific forum that would remain unredeemed for months.
Yes, this is an ongoing problem. What I'd love would be a Reddit-style solution, in which you'd have say a single "Specific Game Threads" forum and you'd select which of the many subfora you'd want to see in there grouped together and which to ignore.

And crdy, you will not see any monsters in the game. Unless they changed that in the director's cut which I haven't played, but I doubt that. And it's not very long, but a combination of badly signposted puzzles and pixel hunting means you can spend countless hours on it without ever moving forward, so I can't really give you an estimate.
