The Secret World.

I've never been so scared of security cameras, of all things....

Tallima: I may be a coward. I've been mildly frightened (and had a few nice cheap jumps) from Alan Wake. And Amnesia was alright. But the most freaked out I've gotten is in the new Thief game. I still haven't finished that chapter b/c I can't play it for more than 20 minutes before the stress of it is too much. For whatever reason, it really hits the right notes for my cowardice.

So if you want to try Thief, it's got some good creepy moments.

(BTW, my desktop is in a small closet. I have the lights off with 5.1 turned up. It wouldn't be nearly as scary for me in a "safe" play environment like the living room).

I have fibrillation but haven't played it yet. If I think of it, I'll give it a go over the weekend. I heard it's short and sweet.

xplay1989: haha, you are funny.think i'll try Thief.and let me know what do you think of fibrillation.
Fibrillation wasn't great. I spent 30 minutes more than I should have in a part and then looked up a walkthrough. It wanted me to "use" something (and you can't use anything throughout the whole game). It had a few moments of mild intensity, but after quickly realizing that there was no real threat, it just didn't ring scary. It's not survival horror. it's not survival, really (technically, maybe). And it's not horror.

It has two endings. But both are equally dissatisfying.

Overall, if Fibrillation didn't exist, the world would be about the same.

Out of all of it, I enjoyed the use of authentic defibrillator sounds the most. :)
