djdarko: Man, I feel for you in the regret portion, I used to know someone with passed up a huge opportunity similar to that. And congrats on the seized opportunity in #2, that's a great story!
Thank you very much! Whenever my posts get a little too wordy, I always worry that no one bothers to read them. Thanks for proving that this isn't the case. Another thanks for the kind words; making this move was one of the scariest things I have ever done, and it worked out so well in the end.

Congratulations to all of the winners! Many thanks to awalterj for his inventive and soul-bearing idea for a giveaway, and to everyone who shared their personal stories with the community. Much love!
Thanks for the awesome giveaway, and the support for my post :D. Also, I loved the "real" raffle. Where did you get those stickers from?

Congratulations to all the winners as well!.

awalterj: Going chaotic good on the raffle making but lawful neutral for the raffle drawing.
I forgot to mention that this literally made me laugh out loud. Brings me back to the old days of role-playing in real life! :D

You're welcome babark, thanks for participating! The stickers were part of a real life loot drop Judas blessed me with when I went to visit the GOG HQ last month over in Poland. I'm trying to put everything to good use :)

I never got around to participate in real life roleplaying but there were a handful of pen & paper D&D players at my school. One of them didn't have a PC fast enough to run Baldur's Gate 1 so I let him play on my computer. He didn't approve of me playing as a paladin, loudly claiming that necromancers are were it's at and that I had no idea and was a noob. He got killed by the first group of wolfs at the beginning and generally didn't get very far, his reactions and explanations were highly entertaining though :)

I always use knights because you click and they kill something :D

Indeed - a circular motion of positive emotion makes a mother's heart swell with pride ;-D
