Just a little something that all the NWN talk has reminded me of which is Dragon Age and I got to wondering if my system has any hope at all of running the game (I'm expected that every setting would have to be off/low to get away with it if it is indeed possible). So lacking and bioware account I thought I'd ask the nice people of GoG.

So with a system spec like this:
Intel Core 2 6400 2.13GHz
2GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 8400GS
Vista

Have I any chance at all?
I ask mostly because I've never (outside of the price tag) got a full understanding of how the Nvida card labels rank up in power/performance
*glances the awakening package*

Minimum reqs:
Windows XP/Vista/7
Intel single core 1,6ghz / Amd Athlon 64 2,0ghz
1 gig ram (xp), 1,5 gig ram (vista / 7)
Lots of free space on HDD
128mb video card for XP (256 for vista / 7) <--- 7600 GT or better for Vista or 7
Direct X 9.0 (yay)
8 speed dvd rom

So, it should run. I think. On minimum settings...

Hmm maybe you should get the Dragon Age Complete Edition, some of the kinks have been iron out.

Or one can patch the game to get the same results :-)

Unless one wants the awakening and DLC's aswell, then the complete edition would be wise.
Your biggest issue will likely be your video card. That's not a gaming grade card at all (before the GTX series cards, you could tell by the second number whether or not your card would be decent for gaming. If that number was 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 7, then you'd likely have some issues. Second numbers of 6, 8, and 9 are the gaming cards).
Btw, is that a laptop or a desktop computer you have?

Desktop - it did have a nice shiny 8800GTX inside however the card decided that it no longer liked me and destroyed itself so I was suddenly forced to pick up a replacement a cheap cost card and I've still not found the budget to put toward a new higher performance card.

By biggest concern is that it meets the min requirements, but that whilst the game will show actual gameplay itself will be choppy/showing poor performance - which pretty much means that the game becomes a chore to play
