If this is true, then talk about out of the frying pan and into the fire. Peter Moore is even worse than Riccitiello.
Eh...I don't know about this. I think this will become a trading of one "evil" (if John Ricitello was, which is up for discussion) for another, worse evil.

ycl260779: For some reason I read the post as "John Riccitello fried". I need to get my eyes checked.
It could be worse: I read it as "Roger Moore will step in to take his place."

"My name is Arts, Electronic Arts."

orcishgamer: I have a feeling Riticello was actually taking EA slowly in a positive direction. I think the gaming community will greatly regret seeing him go in the end.
EA was doing some decent work in recent month. Kickstarter support, universal Origin key redemption, decent promos (although, weirdly enough, not on Origin but on 3rd party services), free DLCs, excellent, excellent GOG support.

Let's see were this goes ...

this. and plenty of good releases thanks to developers like DICE and Bioware.

as a gamer, i see no reason why Riccitiello should have to go. of course, i'm not a shareholder...
