SCPM: Hmm, but if Activision does acquire Take Two, they will have a new library of classics to bring to GOG, like the Myth games, Oni, X-Com, the GTA games, etc. Honestly, I hope they Take Two does get bought by them just for that reason. :)
GaminggUy45: You have a point honestly i would rather it be Activision then EA or Ubisoft at least with Activision there's a chance to get some games on GOG. But they haven't released anything on GOG in quite awhile now not sure of how long its been though.
Yeah, it's been nearly 2 full years since their last release, Spycraft. There could be many reasons why they haven't brought anything. I think the last official response was to tfishell on Facebook:
https://www.facebook.com/oneofswords/posts/10152284476392830?comment_id=10152296968362830&offset=0&total_comments=1 And I talked to the people who hold the license to the Heavy Gear games, and they said that they approached Activision to re-release the games on GOG 2 years ago but Activision wasn't interested. I guess all we can do is vote up stuff on the wishlist and beg them on Twitter and Facebook. =\
Strijkbout: I rather would have like Activision to take over Bethesda if that would mean Fallout would return to GOG.
EA tried to takeover 2K earlier but that got cancelled because of some reason.
I think the problem is with Bethesda's parent company, Zenimax. They also own id Software which is why we haven't seen Commander Keen, Doom, Quake, Hexen, Heretic, etc. on GOG either. =\
