Looks interesting, but it's not in black and white which means it isn't "true" noir. Still, it looks really good, the story bits sound like something out of an actual noir, we just haven't seen any gameplay.

Then again, it's Rockstar, so do we really need to see what the gameplay looks like?
I'm very much looking forward to both Agent and LA Noire. The latter I've been wanting to get my paws on for what feels like forever now. :P

Aliasalpha: Chinatown wars was a handheld game from the get go, its never been ported to the major consoles either which is a bit of a pity really since it'd make a great XBLA/PSN game
Yeah it's a pity.
Not only on XBLA and PSN, but lots of people would get it for $10-$15 on PC (Steam, maybe), I included.

DId you two watched in 720p? Here: http://media.rockstargames.com/lanoire/local_data/US/vid/wmv/lanoire_trailerone_1280x720.zip

It looks good, IMO. Yes, even if it's not black-and-white noir.

Navagon: Some times it's good to roll a literary hand grenade into a zealous, partisan forum. But the results there would be all too predictable.
I wasn't saying to literally go there and talk about it.

Just saying that lots of people got it during the sales for $7-10, and they got it after multiple patches were released and after that social club thingy was ditched.

Today, the amount of people that got the PC's GTA4 at release or short after, are a minority when compared to the legion who got it from these sales.

Pity they only released the retail complete edition for the two consoles, as I don't want to download like 45GB from steam... Exaggerating, I know. But GTA4 alone is 15GB+ isn't it?

I don't see how the sales statistics affects what I said. It's not like I'm expecting Rockstar to care or anything.

But it is suitably ironic that their all their beloved DRM actually reduced sales until some of it was removed.

I don't know how big the game is. It's been quite a while since I bothered with it.

Yeah, and I guess 2K Games doesn't care much either.

Agreed, reduced sales until the DRM/social club was patched out.
