It was only a matter of time after Atari crashed (again) .
Now their French studio Eden Games that developed both Test Drive Unlimited
games and Alone in the Dark: Near Death Investigation is history.
After releasing TDU 2 they fired most of their employees (50 out of 80) and
due to financial problems Atari tried to sell them....
At the beginning of 2013 they were closed because there was no money left....
I will remember the first TDU.
Yeah, this news stinks.
I unfortunately missed TDU1, but TDU2 was really good.
NO!

WE NEED A SEQUEL TO ALONE IN THE DARK!

DAMN YOU ATARI! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH
Direct2Drive gave me Test Drive Unlimited 1 for free during their 2010 random gift giveaway. I should play it already. Thanks for the heads up.
Having played Alone in the Dark 5, I am finding it really hard to muster up sympathy. I hope everybody finds new jobs, but man, Alone in the Dark 5 sucked. We need a new game though.

Edit: 'New,' not 'ew.' That completely changes the meaning of the post.

I still could go for PC release of Alone in the Dark: Inferno (which was PS3 version w/ a lot of fixes and whatnot), since AITD 2008 never got updated on PC and all...
