Ketchua: Pushed the "Post" button too early during the writing of the Commandos 2+3 "review", so I had to end it via comment. Dammit.:D

Can't you edit your review by editing it in the forum?

For some reason, no. I can edit all of the posts, except the ones archived as reviews...

I could be very wrong, but I thought Commandos 2+3 was also going to be drawn this week......

I thought it would be Dark Fall, but it seems to have escaped the competition treatment. Shame; what I've played so far is very good.

Firek: The idea behind the Review Contest is pretty simple. Every Saturday we draw one user review each from the previous week's new releases. The authors of each of those reviews get a free promo code for their effort, which can be used to get any game in our catalog.
This week's title and its winner was:
Advent Rising - phreekbird,
Psychonauts - antihippie.
Next week's titles will be:
BloodRayne,
Sanitarium.
And the rules of the Contest are:
1) You're free to write a review for all games participating in the Review Contest event.
2) The review(s) must be decent or better. ;)
3) The review(s) must not be a copy of a review from a different website.
4) One winning review per game will be drawn from all applicable reviews written before Saturday 6:00 a.m. EDT,
5) You don't have to own the game at GOG.com to participate.

Just wondering Firek, a few weeks ago I thought you put up Commandos 2+3 up as well....

how long does it usually take to get the promo code?
it's been 4 days..
edit: it's been a week.. new contest winners have been announced..
still no promo code from my winning review last week... whats up..?

For the record, though, they don't give the code to the most helpful review - the winner is chosen at random from all submitted reviews. Still, I'm glad you were the one to get the free game. Cheers!
