Looking for a pad, Mainly square style though like the sega master system or some spoof of that with a extra button or 2

thinkgeek.com has a Snes controller with a USB connector, but it is $30 and for that money you could probably get something better that would work on most games.

It's based on the Famicom controller, but with extra buttons. It's rectangular like the classic Master System pad though! And with a better (IMO) D-pad! It's Japanese though, so you might have to buy it from an import company. I have the SNES version from the same company and it's very nice.

Oh man thats perfect, I love the original nes controller and this is the sort of thing im looking for (i am a sega fan at heart though <3)

This site sells port cables to connect original controllers to USB or even kits to do a total conversion to USB.

Thats pretty cool, i knew you could get these though and hopefully the PS1/PS2 port ones work well as i found somewhere that sells the retro con, Now to find out if the controllers work.
