Tallima: I enjoy games like Galaga, Sinistar and Pac-Man. But I really really really love multiplayer stuff. Joust is one of my favorites form ye olde 80s.
Joust is one of the best two-player single-screen games ever made. You can co-operate and backstab, all within the same play session. My favourite arcade multiplayer title is Gauntlet. Fantastic with two players, and unbelievable with four.

I'll take the Barbarian then. "You took my father's sword"!
A little bump in case anyone missed all of the wonderful arcade games.
One last and final bump just so everyone remembers to bookmark a huge arcade they can play at home. And this is me, signing off. Good night! And good morning!
Great stuff, but it'll never beat being in an actual arcade with all those game cabs... with Journey playing in the background.

So you can get the sound to work? I'm not having any luck which normally wouldn't bother me but I grew up with those Journey songs. :D

I believe the arcade game used a cassette player in the cab for the songs, it's possible to have these in an emulator but this web based MESS isn't set up to download or play them. :s

there was sound? I never noticed, I generally play late 70s early 80s light rock when playing arcades. Grew up thinking it was a cool thing to do thanks to Tron. :P
