This was one of the most underrated FPS of pre-2000, built on a religious/sci-fi tone, featuring bullet time for the first time among special powers. You could choose just walking around, avoiding confrontation or you could start with full-out assault (a bit likelater in Deus Ex). Design and characters were top-notch and even its animation was ahead of its time.
I hunted down a boxed version around 2005 on eBay, even managed to run under XP (no sound though) but never worked in Windows 7...

There's a cancelled Quake 4 TC just sitting about on moddb. The authors have stated that anyone who wants to take the existing materials and finish the TC are welcome to them. Their official site hasn't seen much news lately in the past couple of years, but it hasn't lapsed, so that's a good sign.

It's one of the few games from Q/Q2 era that I never played. And I heard so much good about it. It seems to me to be similar a bit to Messiah, although no possession but still good stuff.
I've been longing to see this at GoG too. I have the original retail copy from when it came out but it doesn't work with newer versions of directX :(

I was probably about 11-13 years old when I last played it but from what I can remember it was totally awesome, transforming people into salt and boiling their blood etc. >:D
I remember it as similar to the Jedi Knight game but with a much darker feel to it.
Hi! I found the solution for Win 7 users, but it is little bit complicated!
a) install(in win 98 compat. mod) game on pc with Win XP and apply patch 1.2, 1.3 (easy to find on Fileplanet) also copy downloaded savegame files
b)copy your Requiem file in Win 7 computer, set all .exe files to win 98 compat. mod(still you must have original CD or cd image mounted in computer)
c)find folder media, open it and in folder movies delete smackw32.dll
d)click on Requiem.exe or Direct3D.exe

Game could run, but still have a lot of bugs especially in menu(bad colors)
also I dont know how to set bigger resolution than 1280x1024 which could be big problem for today widescreen displays...sorry for my bad english and enjoy this perfect game!

Sounds interesting, I'll have to try it though - I only have XP x64 machines around me... thanks anyway! :)

I thought the game was very mediocre myself. Some of the powers like possession were fun, the rest of the game just plain dull.
